MD and Senior Associate

Jim Halliday

Jim is a senior oil and gas industry executive with 35 years experience in commercial, finance and asset/business management.

Jim’s most recent roles were as Head of Global Commercial Operations, Chief Financial Officer for the UK and Norwegian Upstream Businesses and Vice President of Midstream and Partner Operated Ventures for BP. He has served as a Director of more than a dozen subsidiary companies and is recognised for his commercial acumen, business insight and delivery focus.

Jim's experience includes the development of portfolio strategies, major A&D activities, Joint Venture management, complex negotiations, cash flow optimisation and at scale capital approvals. He has also managed significant upstream and midstream assets and has supported the industry and government on a range of projects and reviews.

Jim has an Honours degree in Applied Geology from the University of Strathclyde and is a Member of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of the Geological Society.

Senior Associate

Dave Goodwill

Dave Goodwill is a senior oil and gas industry executive with 29 years experience in topsides, drilling and well operations.

Dave’s most recent role was as Vice President Operations and company Director for BP’s UK North Sea business. Prior to that he served as Asset Manager for the majority of BP’s North Sea assets. Dave has run large, diverse teams and managed a wide range of assets including fixed and floating installations across the full asset life cycle.

Dave has an Honours degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Birmingham. He is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.

Senior Associate

Tim McNiff

Tim is a highly experienced, senior upstream oil and gas commercial professional with 35 years experience, the last 17 years spent in the North Sea Upstream Business.

Over the last 5 years Tim has led regional delivery of over $3bn of Portfolio Transactions for BP operated and non operated assets including disposals of Harding/ Braes, SNS, Wytch Farm, North West Hutton and ETAP acquisition.

Tim’s experience includes project management of asset acquisitions and disposals, development of portfolio and asset strategies, joint venture management, development project negotiations, business case articulation and development training and coaching.

Tim has an Honours degree in Chemistry from the University of Wales, Swansea. He is a Chartered Chemist and a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Senior Associate

Mark Bradshaw

Mark is a senior oil and gas industry executive with 35 years’ experience in supply chain and commercial management gained across the globe with BP, a drilling contractor and various joint ventures.

Mark’s most recent role was as Vice President and CPO for BP’s UK North Sea business. Prior to that he worked on new country entry projects in Tunisia, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, FSU, Azerbaijan and Algeria; and then on commercial transformations for existing businesses for in Trinidad, Egypt and finally the North Sea.

Mark has an honours degree in Business Studies. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply and is also a member of both the Institute of Directors and the Institute of Logistics and Transport.
